Emily Dezmin, MS, CCC-SLP

Using a family-centered approach, Emily incorporates a child's natural environment to understand and support their unique interests and communication profile. She brings enthusiastic energy and empowerment to build meaningful communication skills. Her unique approach allows families to feel supported throughout their daily routines. Outside of work, Emily enjoys hiking and adventuring in nature.

Background

Emily received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Speech and Language Pathology from Northeastern University. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

Emily's clinical experience includes settings in the public school system, inpatient hospital, and private clinics. Before starting Ready, Set, Play Speech Therapy, she began her career working at a sensory integration clinic incorporating strategies to support a child's sensory profile and regulation -- important factors to successfully grow and strengthen communication skills. She is devoted to cultivating a unique and flexible family centered approach to foster authentic relationships.

Ani Khachatourian, MS, CCC-SLP

Background

Ani received her bachelor's degree in Special Education at Regis College and completed her master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Emerson College. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

Ani is passionate about helping individuals find their voice, develop clear and effective communication, and overcome challenges with feeding and myofunctional disorders. She has extensive experience working with individuals with expressive language delays, autism, articulation challenges, feeding difficulties, and orofacial myofunctional disorders. Ani’s play-based therapy sessions are designed to be both fun and impactful, fostering progress in a supportive environment. Outside of work, Ani enjoys traveling, cooking, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends, especially around the dinner table!

Amy de Silva, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Background

Amy is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with five years of experience providing comprehensive care across a range of settings. Amy has provided a variety of services (i.e., feeding/swallowing therapy, communication enhancement, etc.) to medically complex individuals across the lifespan. Currently, Amy focuses on supporting neurodiverse individuals with complex communication needs, with a particular interest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Passionate about empowering individuals to communicate effectively, Amy is dedicated to improving the lives of those with diverse communication challenges.

Danielle Hulse, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Background

Danielle received her bachelor's degree in Speech & Hearing Sciences at Washington State University (‘21) with a minor in Human Development and her master’s degree in Medical Speech Language Pathology at the University of Washington (‘23). She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. 

 

Danielle is a neurodiversity affirming clinician that has worked with individuals across the life span with a variety of communication disorders. She has a passion for taking a child-led, strength-based approach working with early language intervention and children who use augmentative and alternative communication devices. She has a passion for supporting individuals who acquire language through gestalt language processing and has years of experiences treating phonology/articulation disorders and stuttering.

Vai Ranganathan, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Background

Vai received his bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at Bucknell University before then working for several years as a clinical research coordinator, specializing in autism research and home-based study visits in the greater Philadelphia community. Inspired by these family-driven experiences, Vai then obtained his master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Boston University. ​

While Vai has experience with both pediatric and adult populations, he currently works with middle and high school students with complex learning profiles, helping to develop and expand their expressive and receptive language skills. Vai supports students with various facets of speech and language, including auditory and reading comprehension, spoken and written expression, social and pragmatic language, executive functioning and speech production. When designing and implementing therapy sessions, Vai emphasizes the interests of his students, as well as the priorities of their families, in order to promote meaningful, lasting progress. When not at work, Vai enjoys cooking, staying active, spending time with friends and family, and watching sports (Go Eagles).
