Using a family-centered approach, Emily incorporates a child's natural environment to understand and support their unique interests and communication profile. She brings enthusiastic energy and empowerment to build meaningful communication skills. Her unique approach allows families to feel supported throughout their daily routines.
Background
Emily received both my bachelor's and master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Northeastern University. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Emily's clinical experience includes settings in the public school system, inpatient hospital, and private clinics. Before starting Ready, Set, Play Speech Therapy, she began my career working at a sensory integration clinic incorporating strategies to support a child's sensory profile and regulation -- important factors to successfully grow and strengthen communication skills.
